A Felting We Will Go

I finally sat down an pulled out my needles again after a long break. This time I decided to make a pair of earrings. I've been thinking for a while that it would be ridiculously adorable to have a pair of mini sheep for earrings, so here they are:

 

I kinda love them. So I made a pair for my friend who is graduating from vet school this year and is a fellow goat lover (she just recently brought home some little nigies of her own)

 

 

 

And lastly, I sculpted "Big Bad Bruce" in memory of Dr.Bruce Hollett who recently lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. It is modeled after UGA VIII who was named after Dr.Hollett.

 

 

 

Saturday, "Bruce" was auctioned off at the annual Graduation Celebration to raise money for UGA vet students' mission trip to the Navajo and Apache reservation. The auction went a long way to getting the students to their goal and will provide a lot of help and hope to the people on the reservation.
