Winter hasn’t
quite started in the south and I’m already planning the spring crop. Today I
put my order in for the pumpkin seeds. I’ve chosen: Montana Jack, Jarrahdale,
Juane Gros De Paris, Musquee De Provence, Pipian from Tuxpan, and Warted Gourd.
(if you want to check out any of these varieties for yourself you can check out
seedsavers.org, sustainableseedco.com, or rareseeds.com). I can’t wait for
spring!
I think the
lady bugs are also eager for some spring weather. They have taken over my room
and the rest of the house trying to keep warm. Here are a few on my curtain
rod.
